Final stop on the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail!

On August 20-22nd, 2026, the Algoma Fish and Game Club is looking forward to putting on the third annual St. Mary's River Walleye Cup. 

Northern Ontario Walleye Trail sanctioned, this 2 day, live weigh-in-water walleye tournament hosted in the Roberta Bondar Tent Pavilion and Marina with the competition taking place on the historically renowned St. Mary's River fishery has become a showcase for the Sault, attracting competitors from as far away as London, Kapuskasing and Geraldton Ontario, Quebec and Michigan.

Our Club's proud volunteer team prioritize the healthy release of the fish back into the St. Mary's. We are always happy to accept help from an extra pair of hands, and offer a fun and unique opportunity for highschool students looking to fill their volunteer hours.
