OUR STORY
In The Beginning...
The Algoma Fish and Game Club (AFGC) was established in 2016 with a grassroots meeting of like-minded individuals who all had a passion for the outdoors, hunting and/or fishing in the Algoma District.
Whether we are teaching children to catch their first fish, or showing our appreciation for local veteran service men and women through our shared enjoyment of the outdoors, our group organizes and supports several events throughout the year that encourages the enjoyment of the outdoors.
Where Are We Today...
With our Club having a solid core membership that we are strive to grow to larger numbers, we put on several core events each year partnering with other local organizations, Ministries and volunteer groups to promote and share our passion for the outdoors.
From humble beginnings in a garage to organizing events that host hundreds of people each year, our Club looks forward to working with the people of the Algoma District to continue organizing events that benefit outdoor enthusiasts, but we are also looking to assist with events taking place in the District that may not be directly affiliated with the Club.
