General Membership Meetings

Open to all members to attend to get information on upcoming events and ongoing initiatives.  This is also a great opportunity for members to raise issues or concerns they have with local regulations that our Club can work with the MNR on reviewing in the upcoming seasons.  If you are a non-member and would like to attend a meeting to see what it is all about - email the Club today!

Kid's Perch Fishing Derby - Sunday, March 8th, 2026
A fun day for the whole family on the hard water (ice) where kids can try their luck catching some tasty perch through the ice!  The event typically is held in early March where mother nature is starting to tease us with some spring-like weather, but we still have fantastic ice conditions.  We host the event on Neebish Bay, just east of Sault Ste. Marie (20min drive). Take A Veteran Fishing Day - Saturday, June 6th, 2026

We are again looking forward to showing our thanks to the many servicewomen and servicemen from the Algoma District by putting on this great event.  Calling all Guides, Captains, and Volunteers to help out with the 2025 edition of the Take A Veteran Fishing Day!  Contact the Club via email to get more information.

2nd Annual Coho Salmon Derby - Sunday, September 27th, 2026
Looking to test your big water angling skills and have a chance at winning some cash?  Join us on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 for the 1st Annual Coho Salmon Derby.  Based out of the Harmony Beach boat launch area, we are looking forward to seeing you all there.  For more information on this new event - visit the Facebook Event Page for prize info, as well as registration details.  Look forward to seeing you on the big lake!!
Kid's Fall Fishing Day - Sunday, October 4th, 2026
We can't wait to wrap up the fishing season with all the smiles of so many kids new to the sport of fishing.  This annual FREE event will feature fishing (of course!), introduction to fish cleaning, conservation, casting techniques, archery and of course there may be a BeaverTail or two seen at the event as well.  We hope to see you there, and if you are interested in attending or getting involved and would like more information, please email the event chairperson for more details, or visit the Facebook Event Page.
