Investing in Our Local Infrastructure

The Algoma Fish and Game Club takes on local projects within the Disctrict to improve the quality of the facilities and rescources available, but also the level of access to the various bodies of water that the Algoma Region is blessed with.

A couple of recent project successes in the area over the past couple of years that feature the partnerships our Club has with the various levels of government, local contractors and numerous volunteers in the area are the public boat launches and docks at both the Harmony Beach Boat Launch, and the Gros Cap Boat Launch.

​

Both facilities help our local boaters and anglers have better access to the great Lake Superior, and both facilities were in dire need of updating and assistance.

The photo gallery showcases some of the improvements to the ramps, docks, dredging and even parking availability to increase the capacity of these facilities.
